#TheDoggyDash is a fun filled event specifically to raise funds for our #2025by2025 Sterilisation Campaign.
Our goal is to sterilise 2025 dogs by the year 2025.
Family Fun Walk:
A chilled 5km walk for families and their furkids. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Pram friendly.
Cost R50 per Adult. R30 for U/12. Kids in prams free. Excludes R10 Giba Entrance Fee.
Start anytime from 09:00 to 13:00.
Canicross Event:
For those Trail Runners who love to run with their dogs we will have a more technical 5km Route.
Cost R80 per runner. Excludes R10 Giba Entrance Fee.
Registration at 09:00.
Starts 09:30.
Canicross is a popular sport in Europe. We will share more information in the event link.

Sanctuary Project
Sanctuary Project, based in the upper Highway area of KwaZulu-Natal, focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals both domestic and wild. It was started about 10 years ago, and since inception has grown in scale, also operating as the largest CROW (Centre for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife) depot in the region. Sanctuary Project was initiated by canine and parrot behaviourist and wildlife/animal rehabilitation specialist, Bruce Wilson. What started as a general interest in parrot behaviour quickly developed into Bruce’s first parrot rescue, and then snowballed into the animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming operation that is now relied upon by so many in the upper-highway area.
